 |
Mermit PrivatCom is a simple personal data manager for Symbian Series 60 mobile devices. Its main function is to provide a safe and convenient place to store confidential and personal data, such as contacts and messages or even username and passwords details into the mobile device. The user can directly save the data to this password -protected solution or simply import it from the devices own contact book or a text message folder. It is also possible to receive messages from certain phone numbers directly to PrivatCom, so that no one can read these messages before first entering the password. PrivatCom uses an industry strength cipher to encrypt the data.
Thanks to PrivatCom, no one can offend the phone owners privacy - even when the phone is on and unlocked, or shared by others! Unauthorized persons cannot open messages and read messages containing private information. In case of an emergency the user can erase all the data stored in PrivatCom using a predefined code.
